You live your life. The places you are. The ones you love. You have your habits. Your peace. Things get better and worse and even better and just a bit worse again. With the passing of time, you can handle it. But there are instances in every life when change is not slow. It is sudden. Without warning, without transition from the previous state, everything is different. The sudden grabs you from your place, shakes you around so you loose all sense of direction and drops you down someplace altogether different.
After having been grabbed and shaken and dropped a couple of times before, perhaps your sense of direction improves a little. While the fear for the sudden, for the grabbing hand that you can’t possibly see coming, grows.
