The fragile twirling lines the ink makes in the water in Tillmans’ photograph can be heard in the fluctuating notes in Greenwood’s song.  The notes grow weaker and stronger, they fade and rise, but never really stop. Just like the lines of ink. The song ends abruptly, you didn’t see it coming. Just like the crop of the photograph cuts the flow of the ink.
