Sanne Kabalt is an artist working with photography, video and words from Amsterdam (NL). Laura ten Zeldam is an artist working with glass, paint and ink based in Brussels (BE). In the summer of 2018 they embarked on a collaboration during a joint residency at Leveld Kunstnartun in Norway. The works shown here were created there.

In a continuous exchange, river became photograph became drawing became video became glass became word became stone became (...) The boundaries between different media fade, one work blurs into the other. Object, subject and body are playing a shape-shifting game.

The artist's hand is inherently part of nature itself. The solid fluid strives to show photos that do not capture, drawings that do not imitate, words that do no chase.

Sanne & Laura are working towards an exhibition, and are currently looking for a space to develop this further. Rather than showing a collection of works, they intend to create an installation in which glass, photography, drawing, words, video and audio are combined.
